THE SWAN

BOY - A swan, coming from the sky, put her wings on me.
She told me to wait for a call and a song
“And when this will happen?”
“Soon” – said the swan – “the answer is hidden inside you”

But I don’t know how I could make, believe me, I don’t know!
And the swan took a knife and so cut my tongue,
putting it in a different position in my throat
and so I can speak in every language that the world knows,
I understand the world.

A dream, maybe it’s only a dream and the swan flew away.
And the sunbeams came in through the window,
I am just surviving, but the spring will come and maybe the swan will come.

The new live EP by Ryan W. Stevenson's project reminded me, that this debut album must have been gone down the wishlist... If instrumental Canterbury stuff is your thing, this should be a no-brainer.
